Your settings and privacy

Everything about your account and your privacy lives in one place. Your information is private by design and never sold, and this is where you decide what Ethia keeps, who is allowed to see it, and how Ethia reaches you. You do not need to change any of it to get started, but it is good to know where it is.

Anytime · nothing here is required to begin
1

Open “You & privacy”

In the panel on the right, click You & privacy. It is the last tile, with the little person on it. Everything below lives inside it.

You & privacy

You did it right if: the panel opens to a grid titled “You & privacy”.

2

See what Ethia remembers, and edit your profile

Open What I remember to read, in plain words, everything Ethia has picked up about you, and remove anything you would rather it forget. Your profile is where you set the basics that make its answers specific to you.

Privacy & sharing

Good to know: what Ethia remembers is always yours to see and to erase. Nothing is hidden from you.

3

Control who can see your information

Open Privacy & sharing to decide what, if anything, is ever shared, and with whom. Who can see and Data & consent give you the fine controls. Nothing is shared without you choosing it.

Who can see
Data & consent

Your data is yours. Private by design, and never sold. These switches are the only way anything ever leaves your account, and they are all off until you turn them on.

You did it right if: you can see each sharing option and whether it is on or off. Leaving them all off is a perfectly good choice.

4

Add a caregiver, and set how Ethia reaches you

If someone helps with your care, open Caregiver access to invite them and choose exactly how much they can see. Notifications is where you decide when and how Ethia gets in touch, so it fits your life rather than nagging you.

4Caregiver access
Notifications

You did it right if: you can send a caregiver invite and pick their access level, and turn notifications up or down to suit you.

That is the tour. None of it is required to use Ethia, but it is all here whenever you want it, and it is all in your hands.

Questions about your privacy? Reply to any email from Ethia and a real person will answer. You do not have to figure this out alone.
