Get ready for a doctor visit

Appointments are short, and it is easy to forget what you meant to say. Keep a record of each visit here, and Ethia turns it into prep and questions for the next one, so you walk in ready and walk out with what you needed.

1

Open your visits

On your home screen, click Log a doctor visit. You can also open Appointments from the panel on the right.

Log today's check-in → 🩺 Log a doctor visit1

You did it right if: the “Doctor visits” page opens.

2

Log a visit

Click Log a visit and add the basics: who you saw and when. If you use Google Calendar, you can instead click Connect Google Calendar and Ethia pulls your appointments in for you, so you never have to add them by hand.

You did it right if: your visit shows up in the list below, waiting for notes.

3

Add what happened

After the appointment, click Add visit notes and jot down what your doctor said in your own words. A sentence is plenty. This is what Ethia uses to help you follow up, so even a rough note is worth adding.

Walk in ready next time

Here is the payoff. Before your next appointment, ask Ethia to help you prepare, and it pulls from your visits, check-ins and labs to hand you a short list of things to raise, specific to you.

📋 Ready for your next visit
  • 1Your fatigue has been worse for three weeks straight. Ask whether it could be tied to your recent CRP.
  • 2Dr Smith wanted to follow up if symptoms did not improve. They have not, so raise it.
  • 3You noted a reaction after starting the new medication. Bring the dates.

You did it right if: Ethia gives you real, specific questions drawn from your own record, not generic advice.

The more visits you log, the sharper your prep gets. It is the difference between remembering half of what you meant to ask and walking in with a list.
