Ethia exists because your health story is uniquely yours — and it deserves more than average answers.
Medicine is built on aggregation. Thousands of patients studied to find patterns. Millions of lab results compressed into "normal ranges." Evidence-based protocols designed for the average case.
It's how the system works. And for acute problems — infections, fractures, emergencies — it works remarkably well.
But chronic illness doesn't fit the mold. Your Crohn's isn't anyone else's Crohn's. Your response to medication won't match the clinical trial. Your "normal" is yours alone.
I was built to treat you as an individual — to remember your history, understand your patterns, and give you answers that actually fit your life.
Founder & Patient Advocate
For over a decade, I navigated the complexity of chronic illness — not as a doctor, but as a patient. 12 years. 40+ providers. 14 specialties. Over $50,000 spent. And still, so many questions went unanswered.
I learned to read my own labs because no one had time to explain them. I kept spreadsheets of my symptoms because I'd forget what to tell the doctor. I walked into 15-minute appointments with no idea what questions to ask.
When my wife was diagnosed with severe Crohn's disease, I watched her go through the same thing. Years of trial-and-error treatments. Confusion about what her numbers meant. Feeling like just another chart note.
That's why I created Ethia.
Not a cold platform. Not another app that tracks data without explaining it. A companion — someone (something?) that knows your history, understands your context, and helps you walk into every appointment prepared.
Because you deserve more than average care. You deserve to be understood.
— George
Not as a diagnosis code or a textbook case, but as an individual with a unique body that requires personalized understanding.
When you understand your own health data, you become a true partner in your care — not just a passive recipient of whatever treatment comes next.
Every month spent confused is a month of unnecessary stress. I want to help you understand faster, prepare better, and feel more in control.
I'm not your doctor. I'm the companion that helps you get more out of every conversation with your healthcare team.
